Ingredients

  • 250 gram Butter
  • 250 gram White chocolate for melting
  • 4 Egg large
  • 260 gram Sugar
  • 190 gram Wheat Flour
  • 3 gram Salt
  • 150 gram Almonds
  • 150 gram White chocolate
  • 1 Orange the peel thereof

Instructions

    1. Find a pot.
    2. Add butter to it.
    3. Melt the butter without browning it.
    4. Find a pot and a bowl large enough to sit on top of the pot.
    5. Add a bit of water to the pot and place the bowl on top.
    6. Heat the water on the stove.
    7. Add the 250 grams of white chocolate to the bowl.
    8. Melt the chocolate over the water bath.
    9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan).
    10. Find a bowl.
    11. Add eggs, sugar, flour, and salt to it.
    12. Whisk it together into a fluffy mass.
    13. Add the melted butter and the melted chocolate.
    14. Gently fold it together.
    15. Chop the almonds and the 150 grams of white chocolate - you decide how large the pieces should be depending on how much bite you want in your blondie. Personally, I prefer a little something to chew on.
    16. Add the grated orange peel and the chopped almonds and chocolate to the batter.
    17. Gently fold it around.
    18. Find a dish of an appropriate size - approximately 30x30 cm.
    19. Line the dish with baking paper.
    20. Pour the batter into the mold and place it in the now hot oven.
    21. Bake the blondie for approximately 30 minutes - it depends on your oven.
    22. Take the blondie out and let it cool down.
    23. Cover the cake and, preferably, let it sit until the next day.
    24. Cut the blondie into smaller, square pieces right before serving.

Notes

These blondies can be frozen.
