  • 1 kg Pot Roast Beef cut into large cubes
  • Butter for frying
  • 6 gram Fresh ginger grated
  • 14 gram Garam Masala Indian spice
  • 3.5 gram Paprika
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 pcs. Stock Cube beef

  • 1 pcs. Red bell pepper cut into strips
  • 2 pcs. Carrots large, peeled and sliced

Roux

  • 16 gram Cornstarch
  • 50 gram Water

In addition

  • Rice
  • Bread e.g. naan bread

Instructions

  • Brown the beef cubes well in butter in a large pot.
  • Add ginger, garam masala, and paprika, sauté for a couple of minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, water, and bouillon cube – let the dish simmer covered over low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours (beef varies, check if it's tender before the next step).
  • Add coconut milk, carrots, and bell pepper to the pot and let simmer for another 20 minutes. Start the rice cooking during the last part of the simmering time.
  • If you think the sauce needs thickening, stir a little cornstarch into water and add to the pot, giving a quick boil so the sauce thickens.
  • Season the dish and serve with rice and bread
