Ingredients

  • 1 can Asparagus Slices
  • 30 gram Butter
  • 26.25 gram Wheat Flour
  • 800 gram Chicken Soup Can be replaced with broth
  • 200 gram Cream
  • Spices Salt, white pepper, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar
  • Meatballs Directly from the freezer

Instructions

  • Start by opening the can and placing the asparagus pieces in a sieve with a bowl underneath.
  • The soup is (in essence) a thin, thickened sauce.
  • Therefore, start by melting the butter in a pot over medium-high heat.
  • Add the flour one tablespoon at a time while whisking.
  • Then add the asparagus water while whisking vigorously.
  • Add the soup gradually, and once all the soup/broth is in, let it boil for a couple of minutes.
  • Then pour in the cream and heat the soup until it boils.
  • Taste and adjust with salt (if using soup, a considerable amount is needed), white pepper, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Now add the asparagus pieces and let them heat through for a minute.
  • Then add the frozen meatballs.
  • The soup will stop boiling as the frozen meatballs lower the temperature.
  • Heat the soup until just before boiling, and it's ready.
  • The meatballs must not be boiled.
  • Serve immediately, preferably with a good piece of bread.
