
Recipe for whole chicken on can – grill

Whole Chicken on Can - Grill
Equipment
- Grill Grill temperature: 185°C
- 1 Chicken Holder or 2 aluminum beer cans with the labels removed and cleaned)
Ingredients
- 2 pcs. Whole Chicken à 1400 grams each
- 6 sprig Fresh rosemary
- 2 dl Rub Traeger Rub
- 1 can Beer 2 if they are to be used to hold the chickens
Instructions
Kitchen
- Clean the chickens and rub them with rub inside and out.
- Pour beer in the chicken holder (leave the can with beer almost full). Place a few sprigs of rosemary in the beer.
- Place the chickens on the holder, and insert small sprigs of herbs into the skin and the top of the chicken.
Grill
- Preheat and set the grill to 185°.
- Place the chickens on and insert a thermometer into the thickest part, e.g., in the breast.
- Grill them for about 1.5 hours to an internal temperature of 72°.
- Take them off the grill and let them rest for 15 min. before removing them from the holder.
Arrange
- Remove from the holder and cut each into 4 pieces.
- Serve with a delicious salad.
