Recipe for the perfect gt (gin and tonic)

Gin & Tonic/GT is one of the most popular drinks and for good reason. Here we have drink expert Jesper Schmidt’s take on the perfect version of the drink.

We have the recipe from the book: “Gin – Your Guide to the Best Flavor Experiences“, written by Jesper Schmidt. He writes the following about it:

My take on the perfect G&T: In my eyes, this G&T is simple, delicious, and hits the flavor profile that one associates with gin and tonic. Like here, where I used lime in strips to bring out the aromatic elements. You can replace lime with the citrus fruit you prefer. I used Hills & Harbour gin, which in my opinion is the perfect gin in terms of taste and expression. A G&T should be timeless. It should provide enjoyment from the first sip, it should remind you of summer and sunshine or a stormy evening in front of the fireplace. A G&T is always the perfect companion.”
