They are super quick to make, and the filling can be varied infinitely.

In the picture, I’ve made a spinach waffle with hummus, spiced chicken breast (pulled), lamb’s lettuce, pickled onions, and spring onions.

I can also highly recommend smoked salmon, pesto, and roasted almonds.

Ingredients

  • 200 gram Fresh spinach
  • 3 Egg
  • 106 gram Wheat Flour
  • 103 gram Milk
  • 6 gram Salt
  • 5 gram Baking Soda
  • Butter for frying

Instructions

  • Turn on the waffle iron.
  • Rinse the spinach and blend it with eggs, flour, milk, salt, and baking powder into a completely smooth and green batter.
  • Brush the waffle iron with butter or oil and cook the waffles until they are nicely light brown and crispy.
