Spicy shrimp salad with avocado, cauliflower, and lemon dressing.
Shrimp and avocado are truly a match made in heaven, well complemented by cauliflower and fresh salad. The taste gets a bit of an edge from spicy salsa, which pairs perfectly with the fresh, more tangy dressing.
Yum. It’s pretty straightforward and can be made in under half an hour.

Spicy Shrimp Salad
Ingredients
- 150 gram Prawns
- 15 gram Salsa Spicy
- 2 pcs. Avocado Ripe and diced
- 0.5 pcs. Lemon The juice
- 9 gram Coarse salt
- 150 gram Cauliflower
- 0.5 pcs. Red Onion Finely chopped
- 3 handfuls salad mixed greens
- 5 pcs. Basil Leaves Finely chopped
Dressing
- 100 gram Sour Cream
- 0.5 pcs. Lemon The juice
- 1.5 gram Salt
- Pepper A little
Instructions
- Let the shrimp drain and toss in salsa.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Toss avocado with lemon juice and salt.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring water to a boil, divide the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and drain.
- Toss shrimp, avocado, and cauliflower together with red onion, salad greens, and basil.
- Arrange on plates or in a bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients for the dressing together and serve it with the salad along with some toasted rye bread.
