Recipe for spaghetti meatballs in tomato sauce

Meatballs in tomato sauce, served with spaghetti, are and will always be a huge hit!
The meatballs in this dish are super tender and flavorful – I spice them up with parsley and parmesan ☺️
The sauce complements with wonderful tomato flavor ?
It’s really a pretty simple and quick dish, and it’s so good!

Ingredients
Tomato Sauce
- Butter for frying
- 1 pcs. Onion finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic finely chopped
- 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 can Tomato Puree
- 150 gram Cream cooking-
- 2 gram Basil
- 1 gram Oregano
- 1 gram Pepper
- 6 gram Salt
- 2 gram Paprika
- 8 gram Sweet chili sauce
Meatballs
- 400 gram Minced pork
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 1 pcs. Red Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic crushed
- Parsley 1 handful chopped
- 5 gram Parmesan grated
- 1 gram Basil dried
- 6 gram Salt
- Butter for frying
In addition
- Spaghetti 80-120 grams per person
Instructions
- Start with the tomato sauce:
- Sauté onions and garlic in a pot with a bit of butter.
- Add tomato paste and chopped tomatoes, and bring it to a boil.
- Add cooking cream and spices, and season the dish with sweet chili sauce.
- Turn down to low heat, and let the tomato sauce simmer while you make the meatballs.
- Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs in a bowl and stir until you have a uniform mixture.
- Form the meatballs using a spoon and your hand, and fry them in a pan until they are golden on the outside.
- Put the meatballs in the sauce and let them simmer for about 10 minutes, while your pasta is cooking.
- Serve it all with grated Parmesan and a bit of fresh basil ?
