This recipe is for healthy and delicious savory waffles. They are both gluten-free and a healthy alternative to savory pancakes. They can be used for brunch, lunch, or dinner, preferably alongside avocado & egg or smoked cheese/cream cheese & salmon.

Savory Waffles

This recipe is for healthy and delicious savory waffles. They are both gluten-free and a healthy alternative to savory pancakes. They can be used for brunch, lunch, or dinner, preferably alongside avocado & egg or smoked cheese/cream cheese & salmon.

Ingredients

  • 4 Egg
  • 50 gram Sesame Seeds
  • 20 gram Linseed
  • 80 gram Sunflower Seeds
  • 60 gram Pumpkin Seeds

Instructions

  • Savory Waffles
  • Put all the dry ingredients in a blender and blend it into a flour.
  • Savory Waffles
  • Stir the eggs into the flour to form a batter.
  • Savory Waffles
  • If you have time, let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking it in a Belgian waffle iron.
  • (Use a little fat if your waffle iron is not non-stick).
  • Savory Waffles
  • Let them cool before serving. 
  • Bake them for 4-5 minutes if you’re using a heart-shaped form and 5-6 minutes if you’re using a square form.
