When summer feels like it was an eternity ago, there’s great joy in finding a delicious jar of homemade jam.
In this recipe, I use raspberries, which are always a hit at home.

Raspberry Jam
The taste of summer: When summer seems like an eternity ago, the joy is immense when you can find a delicious jar of homemade jam.
Ingredients
- 1000 gram Raspberry Can be replaced with frozen raspberries
- 500 gram Sugar Regular or cane sugar
- 3 gram Gelatin Powder
- 25 gram Sugar
- Atamon
Instructions
- Rinse the fresh raspberries thoroughly and put them in a pot.
- Boil the berries for 5 minutes until they are tender.
- Gradually stir in the sugar, and once all the sugar is mixed in, let the jam boil for 2 minutes while stirring.
- Meanwhile, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1-2 teaspoons of gelatin powder in a small bowl.
- Now mix the sugar/gelatin with the raspberries and let it boil for an additional 2 minutes. Skim off any foam continuously.
- Rinse your canning jars with Atamon before pouring the jam into them.
- Close the jars immediately.
- Let the jam cool completely before serving.
- Enjoy the taste of summer all year round.
Notes
If you haven't managed to harvest the summer raspberries - just replace the fresh raspberries with frozen ones. They taste delicious too.
