Recipe for pull-apart bread

Pull-apart bread is simply so good. A really easy and delicious cheese bread that is perfect when you’re on the go, for example, if you’re taking a trip to Legoland or Givskud Zoo with the family.

It’s also a wonderful bread to accompany soup, or if you just need a little snack between meals.

Ingredients

  • 63.33 gram Butter melted
  • 100 gram Milk
  • 20 gram Yeast
  • 2 Egg one for brushing
  • 6 gram Salt
  • 290 gram Tipo 00 Flour
  • Garlic Butter amount as needed
  • 70 gram Grated cheese e.g. cheddar
  • Mozzarella Chees
  • Salt and Pepper from the grinder

Instructions

    1. Mix the melted, warm butter together with the milk.
    2. Dissolve the yeast in the mixture and then add the one egg, salt, and half of the flour.
    3. Mix it all well together and then add the remaining flour little by little while stirring. The dough should become soft and pliable.
    4. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 40 minutes.
    5. Sprinkle the countertop with a bit of flour and roll out the dough into a square shape to a thickness of 0.5 centimeters.
    6. Melt the garlic butter and brush it over the dough.
    7. Mix both types of cheese with salt and pepper and sprinkle it on top of the dough.
    8. Cut the dough into slices along the short side.
    9. Place the slices in a form lined with baking paper so that they overlap a bit as shown.Pull-apart bread
    10. Let it rise in the bread form for three-quarters of an hour.
    11. Whisk the last egg and brush it over the risen bread.
    12. Place the bread in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) (convection) for 20 minutes.
