Pico de gallo (tomato salsa)
Ingredients
- 300 gram Tomato sun-ripened
- 40 gram Red Onion finely chopped
- 1 pcs. Green chili pitted and finely chopped (preferably Jalapeño)
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1-2 tablespoon Cilantro fresh or another herb
- Lime Juice
- Salt
Instructions
- Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and drain some of the liquid from them.
- Mix the tomatoes in a bowl with finely chopped red onion, chili, garlic, and cilantro.
- Toss the tomato mixture with salt and lime juice.
- Let the salsa rest for about an hour before serving.
- Adjust the seasoning with extra salt and lime before serving.
