Recipe for pickled green tomatoes with chili and ginger
If you have tomatoes in your garden, they are likely still green at this time of the year.
But they can still easily be used in cooking.
Since they have a very tart flavor, green tomatoes won’t be suitable for every recipe.
However, you can fry them, make chutney…
…and green tomatoes are really delicious when pickled!
We generally love pickled items at home. I am especially fond of my own pickled radishes, and my partner is extremely fond of chili.
That’s why my recipe for pickled green tomatoes includes lots of chili.
You can also make the traditional version of pickled green tomatoes without much fuss— or you can dive straight into my slightly more exotic version 😉
If you’re not into such a strong flavor like us, simply halve the amount of chili.
