Recipe for pickled apples and red onions
Pickled apples and pickled red onions taste delightful.
They are incredibly easy and quick to make, and they are perfect for elevating sandwiches, burgers, and, for example, hot dogs to a significantly higher level.

Equipment
- Pot
- Canning Jar
Ingredients
- 200 gram Vinegar Just use your favorite variety, e.g. apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar
- 85 gram Sugar
- 2.3 gram Peppercorns
- 2 gram Fennel Seeds
- 2 pcs. Apples
- 1 pcs. Red Onion
Instructions
- Boil the vinegar with sugar and spices.
- Slice the apples and onions into thin wedges, place them in a pickling jar, and pour the boiling brine over them.
- Close the jar and let it cool.
