Recipe for peanut butter porridge with banana and strawberry compote
The truly fantastic thing about oatmeal is that you can customize it exactly as you like; add seeds, grains, spices, fruit, and other flavorings as needed. At the same time, oatmeal is both healthy, easy, and filling, providing a great start to the day.
In this version, I made oatmeal with peanut butter and banana, which always complement each other super well and topped with fresh berries, slightly tangy strawberry compote, the slightly salty peanut butter, and sweet banana – it’s a mix that hits it out of the park! If you want it to be extra delicious, you can sprinkle some chopped chocolate as well.
The strawberry compote doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to whip up, and I added some chia seeds for extra fiber and protein. But if you don’t feel like making compote, you can easily leave it out and just use more fresh berries instead.
Either way, you’ll get a healthy, filling, and tasty luxury breakfast that can be ready in no time and will make your taste buds dance.
