Recipe for oatmeal with raspberries
Oatmeal is a Danish breakfast classic that many prefer to start their day with. It’s an excellent choice, as oatmeal is super healthy, contains a lot of dietary fiber, and provides good satiety. That it is also a very cheap and easy dish certainly doesn’t make it any less appealing.
Many people eat their oatmeal sprinkled with sugar, but instead try adding fresh berries on top. It tastes really good and gives you all the benefits of the fruit right from the start of the day.
The recipe can be varied endlessly: use blueberries instead of raspberries, add a bit of ground cinnamon or cardamom to the oatmeal, or top it with syrup or homemade jam along with the berries. The only limit is your imagination.

Ingredients
- 60 gram Oatmeal
- 300 gram Water or milk - possibly a mix.
- 1 pinch Salt
- Raspberry fresh
Instructions
- Mix oats and water/milk in a pot.
- You can use both coarse and fine oats for the porridge, it's entirely up to you. Coarse oats need to boil a bit longer than fine oats for them to be tender.
- Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring.
- Keep stirring the pot while the porridge cooks, otherwise it will stick to the bottom of the pot.
- Once the porridge has reached the desired consistency, remove the pot from the heat.
- Add salt.
- Pour the oatmeal into a deep plate and top it with fresh raspberries.
