Delicious, light oatmeal cookies

Recipe for oatmeal cookies

Delicious and light cookies that almost melt in your mouth. When oats are baked in the oven, they acquire a unique, slightly nutty flavor.
These oat cookies are so easy and quick to bake that the entire process can be done in half an hour. Perfect for unexpected guests.

Ingredients
- 75 gram Butter
- 120 gram Sugar white sugar, not cane sugar
- 75 gram Oatmeal fine rolled
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 4.8 gram Baking Soda
- 4.2 gram Vanilla Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt fine salt
- 7.8 gram Wheat Flour
Instructions
- Melt the butter.
- Mix sugar, oats, and melted butter together in a bowl (use a spoon).
- Beat the egg and add it to the dough. Mix everything well.
- Stir flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt into the dough.
- Use two teaspoons to place dollops of dough on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remember to leave sufficient space between each cookie as they spread a lot.
- Bake the cookies at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan-forced) for about 5-6 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to cool on a rack.
Notes
Optionally, add a bit of finely grated lemon zest to the dough if you want a slightly different cookie flavor.
