Recipe for mont d’or – the cheese from the golden mountain

Mont d’Or – The Cheese from the Golden Mountain.

One of the things I personally look forward to when summer comes to an end is the arrival of this year’s Mont d’Or. It’s a cheese you really ought to treat yourself to throughout the autumn and winter. The cheese is only produced from August to March, so it’s important to enjoy it while it’s here.

I have served this cheese numerous times for friends at festive occasions, and it’s always a huge hit.

I dare say that Mont d’Or is one of my favorite cheeses.
