This delightful dish is perfect for a cozy evening on the terrace, where it is grilled to perfection and served piping hot with freshly grated mozzarella and jalapeños for an extra kick.

Mexican Lasagna in a casserole (grill)
Equipment
- Grill Grill Temperature: 200° degrees
- Pan or springform pan or pot
Ingredients
- 1 package Tortillas pancakes
- 600 gram Ground beef
- Oil for frying & brushing the pan/casserole
- 1 pcs. Onion minced
- 2 pcs. Bell Pepper minced
- 2 clove Garlic grated
- 1 package Spice Mix taco seasoning
- 1 glass Salsa
- 200 gram Mozzarella Chees grated
- 1 glass Jalapenos
- 1 tablespoon Herbs fresh, e.g., cilantro
Instructions
- Set the grill to 200° degrees
- Prepare all ingredients
- Place a pot on the grill
- Cook the meat in the pot
- Add vegetables and sauté
- Add taco seasoning and salsa
- Let it simmer
- Brush the pan or springform with oil
- Place a tortilla at the bottom of the casserole and distribute a suitable amount of meat sauce, continue until the casserole/pan is filled.
- Sprinkle cheese on top of the casserole
- Place jalapenos on top and the chopped herbs
- Bake the casserole on the grill for approx. 30 min.
Serve
- Serve with guacamole and salad on the side
