
Recipe for kale wraps with salmon and cream cheese spread
A dish that is both healthy, easy, and delicious – you get it right here; lovely kale wraps with salmon and cream cheese flavored with plenty of herbs. A perfect little appetizer for festive occasions, a delicious lunch, or a healthy and super quick dinner. They are also great to bring in a lunchbox or on a picnic.
I made the wraps with kale here, but you could easily use spinach or a combination of the two.
If you want to make it a bit more special, you can – as shown here, serve them with a simple green salad and some toasted bread.

Kale Wraps with Salmon and Cream Cheese Spread
Ingredients
Grønkålswraps
- 3 pcs. Egg
- 80 gram Oatmeal
- 153 gram Milk
- 6 gram Salt
- 1.5 gram Pepper
- 150 gram Kale fresh and chopped. Can be replaced with spinach
- Butter for frying
Fill
- 30 gram Cream Cheese natural
- 30 gram Plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
- 1 handful Chives fresh
- 1 handful Parsley fresh
- 1 handful Basil fresh
- Salt and Pepper
- Lemon Juice
- 200 gram Smoked salmon
Sides
- 1 pcs. ciabatta bread
- 91 gram Olive Oil
- Salad mixed green salad
- Vinaigrette or a good salad dressing
Instructions
Wraps
- Blend all ingredients into a smooth batter and cook 4 wraps on a pan with a little butter.
- Remove them from the heat.
Filling
- Make a cheese spread by finely chopping the herbs and mixing them with cheese and skyr.
- Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Spread the cheese mixture on your wraps, lay salmon over, and roll them up. Cut each wrap into 4-5 smaller pieces.
- Toss your salad with a vinaigrette or another salad dressing and arrange the salmon rolls on top.
- Cut ciabatta bread into slices, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Toast them in a toaster or warm them in the oven for 5 minutes and serve with your salad and salmon rolls.
