
Recipe for healthier lasagna

This lasagna is filled with vegetables, including grated potatoes, which help make it creamy even though it doesn’t simmer for long. If you want, you can prepare the vegetables in advance and store them in airtight containers in the fridge, making it even quicker to finish ? And yes, despite the healthy ingredients, lasagna still remains a hit – even among the little ones ?

Healthier Lasagna
Ingredients
Bolognese
- 400 gram Ground Beef
- Butter For frying
- 1 pcs. Onion Minced
- 3 cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 pcs. Carrots Coarsely grated
- 2 pcs. Potato Coarsely grated
- 0.5 pcs. Squash Coarsely grated
- 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
- 100 gram Tomato Puree
- 3 gram Oregano Dried
- 3 gram Thyme Dried
- 250 gram Broth Vegetable
- 100 gram Light Cream Cooking
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lasagna Sheets Whole grain
- 1 package Mozzarella Chees Fresh. Or grated cheese.
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a pot and brown the meat while stirring over high heat.
- Add all the vegetables, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, thyme, vegetable stock, and cream.
- Let it simmer without a lid for 10-15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Grease an ovenproof dish and alternate layers of sauce and lasagna sheets. Start and finish with a layer of sauce.
- Bake the lasagna for 20 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan).
- Take the lasagna out, spread the cheese on top, and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the lasagna sheets are soft.
- Take the lasagna out and garnish with, for example, parsley.
- Serve with good bread and a salad.
- Fresh spinach goes very well with it.
