Recipe for hasselback carrots

Hasselback carrots with garlic butter and flaky salt.
If you love carrots, hasselback carrots are a flavorful and delicious way to prepare them.

- Potato Peeler
- Cutting Board
- Chef'S Knife
- Baking Paper
- Brush
Ingredients
- 650 gram Carrots scrubbed and cut into smaller pieces
- 95 gram Melted butter
- 4 cloves Garlic finely grated
- Flake Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (428 degrees Fahrenheit), fan.
- Peel or scrub the carrots and cut them to the desired size.
- Make slits on one side of the carrots.
- I use a chopping board as a guide so that all the slits have the same depth.
- Place all the carrots on the rack lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and add finely grated garlic.
- Brush the carrots with garlic butter and sprinkle with flaky salt.
- Place them in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, depending on size.
- Optionally, sprinkle with a bit of fresh thyme, basil, or rosemary before serving. This can be omitted but it tastes delightful.
