Equipment
- Whisk
- Bowl
- Piping Bag
- Oven
Ingredients
- 3 pcs. Egg White
- 200 gram Sugar
Garnish
- Sugar Eyes
- Fruit color
Instructions
- Whisk the egg whites until foamy and gradually add sugar while whisking.Whisk until the meringue can hold its shape. If you want more colors, divide the meringue into different bowls and use food coloring to dye them. For example, yellow and red to get orange, which fits well with Halloween.Put your meringue into one (or more) piping bags and pipe them in different patterns onto a baking paper-lined baking tray. Use a star tip for the orange ones so they look like pumpkins, and a smooth tip for the ghosts.Place sugar eyes and bake them for about 1 hour at 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit) in a conventional oven. Check after 45 minutes; if they release from the baking paper, they are done—baking time depends on their size.
