Recipe for granita
Refreshing, delicious, and ice-cold dessert with strawberry/rhubarb and vanilla.
Have you tried granita?
Granita is a semi-frozen dessert that resembles sorbet but with more ice crystals. It is made without cream and milk, cooked with a simple syrup to which you add flavors in the form of fruit, berries, or vegetables.
This granita is refreshing and full of a delicious berry flavor, making it perfect for a warm summer day.
It’s super easy: 5 hours in the freezer, and then scrape it with a fork – EASY. Serve it as a cold refreshment, as a base for a dessert, or as a “clean the palette” between meals.
Make it with watermelon, mango, cucumber, basil – whatever you like.
I will post the dessert recipe later.
