This week features a new McDonald’s inspired burger made my own way – Double Big Tasty Bacon! This burger is a true delight with juicy beef patties, flavorful sauce, Emmental cheese, crispy lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.

It’s perfect for a cozy evening at home, where you want to impress family and friends with a homemade burger experience.

The delicious Tasty sauce gives the burger an incredible depth of flavor, while the brioche buns make it extra luscious and soft. Follow the recipe below, and you’ll be able to enjoy a burger that matches any fast food experience.

Double Big Tasty Bacon

Ingredients

Tasty sauce:

  • 150 ml Mayonnaise - high quality
  • 10 pcs. Pickles - finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 tsp. Sweet mustard American
  • 1 tsp. White Wine Vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp. Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp. Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Brioche buns:

  • 3 pcs. Brioche Burger Bun

Smash burgers:

  • 660 gram Ground beef 18% fat or more
  • Salt
  • 6 slices Emmental Any cheese with good melting properties
  • 6 pcs. Bacon

Sides

  • 1 pcs. Leaf Lettuce finely sliced
  • 1 pcs. Onion finely chopped
  • 2 pcs. Tomato thinly sliced

Instructions

Tasty sauce

  • Add mayonnaise, finely chopped pickles, ketchup, American mustard, white wine vinegar, onion powder, smoked paprika, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a bowl.
  • Whisk the ingredients together until smooth.

Smash burgers

  • Divide the ground beef into 110-gram balls and salt them.
  • Heat a frying pan or grill to medium-high heat.
  • Press a meatball flat on the pan and cook for one minute.
  • Flip the patty, add a slice of cheese, and cover the pan. Cook for another minute.

Bacon

  • Place the bacon in a cold pan.
  • Turn the heat to medium to low.
  • Fry the bacon until crispy and golden.
  • Place the bacon on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

Burger assembly

  • Finely chop lettuce and onions.
  • Thinly slice tomatoes.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing the patties with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onions in the brioche buns.
