Recipe for country bread
A delicious, juicy country loaf that is perfect for both breakfast and as a side for soups and stews.
The dough needs to rise for a few hours, but we promise that the result is worth the wait and can be tasted.

Ingredients
- 0.25 package Yeast
- 4.2 gram Sugar
- 18 gram Salt
- 45 gram Oil
- 500 gram Water
- 100 gram Whole Wheat Flour Italian
- 500 gram Wheat Flour It can easily be up to 600 grams
Instructions
- Crumble the yeast into a mixing bowl or a dough basin.
- Pour the water over the yeast and stir with a hand whisk until the yeast is dissolved.
- Add salt, sugar, and oil to the yeast liquid.
- Add the whole wheat flour to the mixture and stir well until everything is combined.
- Now add the wheat flour little by little until the dough is smooth but not dry.
- Knead the dough well.
- Place a damp tea towel or a shower cap over the bowl and let the dough rise for 5 hours.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Let the bread rise again for 1 hour.
- Score a pattern into the bread and dust with flour.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 250 degrees Celsius (482 degrees Fahrenheit) convection and then for 20 minutes at 210 degrees Celsius (410 degrees Fahrenheit) convection.
