Coffee Chocolate Mousse

Light and simple recipe for chocolate mousse with a coffee flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 dl Strong coffee
  • 200 gram Dark chocolate
  • 3.5 dl Whipping Cream room temperature cream

Instructions

  • Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool.
  • Meanwhile, melt the chocolate over a water bath. Once all the chocolate is completely melted, set it aside to cool on the kitchen counter.
  • Whip the whipping cream into a light whipped cream, being careful not to over-whip.
  • Stir the cooled coffee and chocolate together until it forms a uniform mixture.
  • Stir 1/3 of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture to create a homogeneous mass.
  • Gently fold the remaining whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  • Coffee Chocolate Mousse
  • Divide the delicious coffee chocolate mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for 2-4 hours before serving.
  • Take the mousse out about 10 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh berries, edible flowers, or whatever you prefer.
