Recipe for caipirinha cocktail
The Brazilian national drink: Caipirinha.
This cocktail had its heyday around the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Many tourists enjoyed it in Brazil and took it home.
The backbone of the cocktail is Cachaca, which is similar to white rum. It is distilled from fermented sugarcane juice.

Equipment
- Cocktail shaker
- Tall drinking glass
Ingredients
- 5 cl Cachaca Fio Do Bigode
- 2 cl Sugar Syrup
- 1.5 pcs. Lime Juice
- 0.5 pcs. Lime Cut into wedges
- Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Place your lime wedges in a shaker and shake well together.
- Add the other ingredients along with ice cubes.
- Shake hard and pour the contents into a highball glass.
- Enjoy your Brazilian specialty.
