
Recipe for brookie (brownie and cookies)
OMG SO DELICIOUS!!
JUST LOOK AT THIS BROWNIE MASHUP COOKIE – or a so-called BROOKIE!!
I’ve just made the most mushy, sticky, dense, and super delicious dessert cake!!
Brownie and cookies mixed together into ONE!!
It’s soooo sinful – and yet you can easily eat two pieces!!
It’s heavy! And it’s extremely delicious! Yummy, right?
Perfect for the weekend!!
The recipe yields about 15-18 pieces and is baked in a tin approximately 33 x 23 cm.

Brookie (brownie and cookies)

Ingredients
Brownies
- 175 gram Butter
- 225 gram Dark chocolate
- 4 pcs. Egg
- 175 gram Sugar
- 175 gram Brown sugar
- 5 gram Vanilla Paste or vanilla sugar
- 150 gram Wheat Flour
- 15 gram Cocoa unsweetened
- 3 gram Sea Salt
Cookies
- 75 gram Brown sugar
- 110 gram Sugar
- 125 gram Butter soft
- 4 gram Vanilla Sugar
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 3 gram Baking Soda
- 150 gram Wheat Flour
- 3 gram Salt
- 75 gram Chocolate + 25 grams for garnish
- 1.5 gram Flake Salt for garnish
Instructions
Brownie
- Melt butter and chocolate together in the microwave.
- Whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, and brown sugar into a frothy mixture.
- Mix the chocolate butter into the eggs and fold together.
- Mix flour and cocoa and sift into the batter.
- Add sea salt and gently fold everything together.
- Place the batter in a baking paper lined pan and set aside.
- It should not be baked yet.
Cookie
- Whisk butter, vanilla, sugar, and brown sugar together well.
- Add an egg and whisk together.
- Mix flour and baking powder, sift it, and fold it in with salt and chocolate.
- Spread the cookie dough in a layer on top of the brownie by placing small blobs on top until it covers everything.
- Bake the brookie at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) fan-forced oven for about 30 minutes.
- The cake may seem slightly underbaked in the middle when it comes out, but it will set once it gets cold.
- Sprinkle with a little flake salt.
- Let the cake cool for a few hours in the fridge before cutting into beautiful pieces!
- The cake is easiest to cut when it is completely cold!
