Recipe for birthday cake
The eldest child has a birthday today, so you need to bring a cake to school.
He wanted chocolate cake with sprinkles AND marshmallows, so of course, he had to have that… ?
This chocolate cake is easy and really delicious – soft and moist with lots of chocolate flavor. It fits in a small baking tray and yields about 20 small pieces… perfect as a class cake or a quick and good cake for work…
The chocolate topping is soft and creamy and just a bit more delicious than regular chocolate glaze… recipe for everything below ?

Ingredients
Cake Batter
- 350 gram Sugar about 4 dl
- 175 gram Wheat Flour about 3 dl
- 25 gram Cocoa powder
- 12 gram Vanilla Sugar
- 5 gram Baking Soda
- 5 gram Baking Soda
- 1 pinch Salt
- 250 gram Melted butter
- 3 pcs. Egg
- 150 gram Water
- 50 gram Coffee done
Chocolate Topping
- 200 gram Powdered Sugar
- 15 gram Cocoa powder
- 25 gram Butter soft
- 50 gram Milk warm
Instructions
- Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, vanilla sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in melted butter, eggs, water, and coffee using a hand mixer until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a baking tin lined with baking paper and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) on one of the lower racks.
- Once the cake has cooled, you can add the topping.
- Do this by simply mixing all the topping ingredients together with a hand mixer until you get a thick, creamy chocolate mixture.
