Then you should try the English “Banoffee”???My way version is a crispy shortcrust pastry filled with salted caramel topped with sliced bananas and whipped cream sprinkled with dark chocolate shavings?
Doesn’t that just sound delicious…?
Pretty tasty…! “Banoffee” is full of great flavor???

Ingredients
Shortcrust Pastry
- 250 gram Flour
- 100 gram Powdered Sugar
- 4 gram Vanilla Sugar
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 75 gram Butter
Salted caramel
- 150 gram Sugar
- 250 gram Cream
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
Topping
- Banana sliced
- Cream
- Dark chocolate chopped
Instructions
Shortcrust Pastry
- -
- Crumble the butter into the dry ingredients and combine with the egg.
- Distribute the shortcrust pastry in a metal baking form.
- Bake the crust until it's lightly golden and make the caramel while the crust bakes at 200° for about 15-20 minutes.

- Melt the sugar over medium heat.
- Carefully add the cream and cook well until it reaches the desired thickness.
- Add salt.
- Pour the caramel over the tart crust and refrigerate.

- Place banana slices on the cooled caramel tart crust.
- Whip the cream and top it over the banana slices.
- Sprinkle with chopped dark chocolate and serve immediately with a nice cup of coffee☕️
