Ingredients
- 275 gram Wheat Flour
- 0.5 l Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 7.2 gram Baking Soda
- 8.4 gram Vanilla Sugar
- 25 gram Sugar
- 2 Egg
- 50 gram Butter For frying
Instructions
- Whisk flour, sugar, vanilla, salt, and baking powder together in a bowl. Gradually add the milk and whisk until there are no lumps.
- Whisk the egg yolks into the pancake batter.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Once the egg whites are stiff, gently fold them into the pancake batter using a spatula.
- Melt the butter in the pan you will use to fry the pancakes. Once the butter is melted, pour it into another container for later use between frying batches.
- On a standard pan, you can cook 3 pancakes at a time. Optionally, use a measuring cup to pour the batter. Use approximately 1/2 dl per pancake.
- Let the pancakes cook on medium heat for 2 minutes on each side.
- Between each batch of pancakes, add a little butter to the pan to prevent the pancakes from sticking.
