Garlic presses are some of the most cumbersome kitchen tools to clean. They typically have several parts that need to be disassembled, and it can also be difficult to get all the remnants out.
Couldn’t it be made simpler? Oh yes!
Joseph Joseph has launched this really smart (and aesthetic!) garlic press, which is simply pressed down on top of the garlic. When you press and simultaneously “rock” the garlic press from side to side, the garlic is crushed and works its way up through the holes. Then, it’s as easy as pie to scrape off the garlic with a spoon! Just watch here:
Isn’t that smart! Regular garlic presses aren’t the most beautiful either, but this one is downright lovely and super elegant.
