Recipe for homemade margarita
Margarita. The year is 1938. The place is Tijuana, Mexico. Carlos Herrera was sitting in his restaurant with the dream of creating a unique cocktail for his regular guest Marjorie King – a talented young actress who was allegedly allergic to everything except tequila.
Carlos combined the elements of the classic tequila shot, with salt and lime wedges, and created a refreshing cocktail that perfectly suited the discerning actress.
