Recipe for pizzatwisters
Delicious pizza twisters; a variation of pizza rolls, sausage rolls, etc., which are fun and tasty for the lunchbox… ?
Everyday life starts again tomorrow, so it’s time to stock up on snacks. These keep fresh for a couple of days, but can also be frozen and used later, so go ahead and make a good batch ?
The dough can also be used for sausage rolls and pizza rolls ?

Ingredients
The Dough
- 50 gram Yeast
- 103 gram Milk
- 100 gram Yogurt naturel
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 6 gram Salt
- 12.5 gram Sugar
- 45 gram Olive Oil
- 100 gram Graham Flour or other whole grain flour
- 350 gram Wheat Flour
Pizza Sauce
- 0.5 can Tomato Puree
- 60 gram Ketchup
- 1 gram Thyme dried
- 0.5 gram Basil dried
In addition
- Ham diced
- Chorizo
- Grated cheese
- Oregano
Instructions
- Warm the milk (finger warm) and dissolve the yeast in it.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well together.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface and let rise for an hour.
- Roll the dough out to a rectangle, about 1/2 cm thick.
- Mix the ingredients for the pizza sauce together and spread it on the dough.
- Cut ham and chorizo into small pieces and distribute on the dough.
- Sprinkle grated cheese and oregano over.
- Fold the dough in half and cut strips of 3-4 cm thickness.
- Cut each strip in half lengthwise and twist them around each other.
- Place on a baking tray and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Brush with milk and bake for 15-17 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) fan oven.
