Recipe for vanilla stars
Do you also love delicious and crispy vanilla wreath cookies, but are tired of cleaning the meat grinder every time?
Then watch here and, like me, keep the meat grinder in the cupboard, and grab your favorite cookie cutter.
We love vanilla wreath cookies, and in our house, they are made both with the meat grinder and cookie cutter. And they are all eaten before Christmas is over.

Ingredients
- 100 gram Almond Flour or finely chopped almonds
- 125 gram Sugar
- 250 gram Wheat Flour
- 200 gram Margarine or butter, room temperature
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1 Vanilla Pod or 2 tsp. vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan).
- Split the vanilla pod and mash the seeds into some sugar.
- Put flour, sugar, vanilla, almond flour, and soft butter into a mixing bowl and mix the dough well.
- Gather the dough with an egg yolk.
- Once the dough is gathered, it's ready to be rolled out on a floured surface. The thickness should be about 1-1.5 centimeters.
- Cut the dough into stars (or the shape you desire) and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Ensure there is some space between the cookies so they don't bake together.
- Bake the cookies for 6-10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan), and let them cool on a wire rack before packing them in an airtight container.
