Recipe for chicken breast sous vide, directly from frozen!
Sous Vide, everyone is talking about it. But does the food really turn out as good as people claim? If you’ve acquired a Sous Vide and want to test just how good a piece of meat CAN become.. Then try a simple and inexpensive piece of chicken breast.
Chicken breast can often become a bit dry and tends to be unevenly cooked. For these particular criteria, Sous Vide is just perfect.
Follow the method in the video above and the description below. You can advantageously go up to 62-65 degrees Celsius the first time if you are not ready to test the lower temperatures on chicken.
Bon appétit!

Chicken Breast Sous Vide, directly from frozen!
Ingredients
- 1800 gram Chicken Breast Here is a whole, frozen bag (1800g)
- 10 gram Salt Season to taste
Instructions
- Frozen chicken breasts are vacuum-packed and placed in the Sous Vide at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) (62-65C is what many use if they want the chicken breasts to resemble what they know).
- When the chickens are ready (after about 1.5 hours, 2 if they are frozen), simply take them out, dry them off, and give them a nice sear on the pan or grill.
- I only season these with salt, but it's only limited by your imagination. Personally, I am a fan of meat tasting like what it is, and then seasoning it with various flavors only when serving.
Notes
Once you've made these, you'll realize how good they are and never go back. Sandwiches, Nachos, or anything else: this chicken is fantastic!
