Ingredients
- 0.5 pcs. Vanilla Pod the seeds thereof
- 65 gram Sugar
- 100 gram Wheat Flour
- 3 pcs. Egg size L
- 65 gram Butter
- 250 gram Milk
Instructions
- Start by slicing the vanilla bean lengthwise and scraping out the seeds with a small knife. Pour a small amount of the sugar onto the cutting board and use the knife to "mash" the vanilla seeds and sugar together. Mix in the rest of the sugar.
- Mix your homemade vanilla sugar with flour in a bowl and add the eggs. Whisk it all together well until the batter is smooth.
- Heat a frying pan (about 28 centimeters in diameter) and melt all the butter.
- Gradually whisk the melted butter into the batter. Finally, whisk in the milk.
- Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the pan. Tilt the pan around so the batter spreads in a thin layer.
- Cook the pancakes over fairly high heat on both sides. They should be light brown and nice.
- Serve the pancakes with ice cream, sugar, or jam.
