Salmon Tartare with Capers
Elevate your appetizer game with this fresh and flavorful salmon tartare with capers. A perfect balance of acidity, brininess, and richness, served best with crispy toast or rye bread. Ideal for a light meal or an elegant starter!
Ingredients
- 200 gram Salmon Fillet fresh or smoked
- 1.5 gram Dill finely chopped
- 15 gram Lemon Juice
- 2 gram Lemon Zest finely grated
- 18 gram Capers finely chopped
- 1.5 pinches Red Onion finely chopped
- 9 gram Olive Oil
- 5 gram Mustard Dijon mustard
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon sliced or wedged, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into very small cubes.
- Mix the salmon and all the remaining ingredients together in a bowl.
- Season the tartare to taste – make sure there is enough salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
