Served with fries and seafood mayo

Recipe for fried crab claws
Crab meat is deeply underrated and can be enjoyed in many different ways.
This recipe is a deluxe junk food version, where the cooked claw meat is breaded in panko and deep-fried.

Ingredients
- 1 kg Crab Claws Boiled
- Spices Salt and pepper
- 2 pcs. Egg
- 50 gram Panko Can be replaced with breadcrumbs
- 106 gram Wheat Flour
Instructions
- First of all, the crab claws must be boiled. They can be bought pre-boiled, so if that's what you have done, you just need to remove the meat. Do this by holding the crab claw in your palm and striking it with the back of a regular tablespoon. Then, you can extract the meat using a teaspoon, fork, or lobster fork.
- If the claws are not pre-boiled, boil them for 8 minutes (if they are small) or up to 12 minutes (if they are large). After that, remove them from the water and rinse under cold water.
- Shred the meat and season it with salt and pepper.
- Shape it into balls, either round or elongated.
- Freeze them for at least 1 hour.
- Coat the balls in a container with flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in panko.
- Freeze them again for at least 30 minutes afterward. If you don't have the time, you can deep-fry them right away, just be careful when placing them in the deep fryer/pot/pan as they are more likely to fall apart.
- They need to be fried until golden, which typically takes 3-5 minutes.
- Serve immediately, preferably with some seafood mayonnaise and fries.
Notes
Inspect the claws before you start. If they sound hollow, they are "glass claws" from a dead crab. They should not be used.
