Recipe for pizza flaps with pesto, ham, mozzarella, and avocado
A slightly different, but truly delightful form of sandwich; a pizza pocket.
It’s simply made from a ready-made pizza dough, cut into suitable pieces, baked, and then filled with delicious ingredients.
This one has red pesto, lettuce, Serrano ham, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, and avocado – an extremely delicious mix with lots of flavors.
Of course, you can bake the bread bases yourself, but this is super quick, making it perfect for a fast fix. The trick with pizza bread is that it is both crispy and soft at the same time – but in a thin format, so it doesn’t overwhelm the sandwich. The filling really shines through.
I think it’s delicious and easy – and you can fill it with whatever you like.
