Pizza flaps with pesto, ham, mozzarella, and avocado

A slightly different but truly delightful form of sandwich; a pizza flap. It is simply made from a ready-made pizza crust, cut into appropriate pieces, baked, and then filled with delicious goodies.

Equipment

  • 1 Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 roll Pizza Dough ready-made/store-bought
  • 30 gram Red pesto
  • 2 handfuls Salad mixed
  • 1 package Serranoskinke about 80 grams
  • 1 pcs. Avocado ripe, sliced
  • 1/2 pcs. Buffalo Mozzarella ball, sliced
  • 25 gram Sundried tomatoes coarsely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and divide it into the desired number of pieces (minimum 4 pieces for 2 sandwiches. I usually make 6-8 pieces from one crust).
  • Bake the pizza crust in the oven according to the instructions on the package.
  • Let the crusts cool and then spread them with pesto and distribute the filling in the sandwiches. Season with salt/pepper and serve.
