
Recipe for christmas hot chocolate with baileys, vanilla cream, and candy canes
A truly cozy, super delicious and Christmassy hot cocoa with Baileys and vanilla foam – perfect for the Christmas days…
This cocoa is made with unsweetened cocoa powder, dark chocolate, whole milk, and a splash of Baileys. Topped with whipped cream mixed with a bit of vanilla, and then marshmallows and candy canes for a little twist of peppermint.
The cocoa is warming, delicious and chocolatey – perfect for the Christmas holidays. And it only takes 5 minutes to whip up.

Christmas hot chocolate with Baileys, vanilla cream, and candy canes
Ingredients
Hot chocolate
- 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder unsweetened cocoa powder - the one used for baking
- 1 tsp. Brown sugar
- 50 gram Dark chocolate coarsely chopped
- 4 dl Whole Milk
- 1/2 dl Bailey'S
Vanilla Foam
- 1,5 dl Whipping Cream
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Sugar
- 1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
In addition
- Marshmallows small and mini
- 3 pcs. Polka Pig - Swedish Candy Cane 1 for each glass and 1 to crush for decoration
Instructions
- Put all ingredients for the hot chocolate in a pot and heat while stirring until the chocolate is melted and the cocoa has reached the desired temperature.
- Whip cream, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar together to a light cream.
- Pour the cocoa into mugs or glasses and top with whipped cream, marshmallows, and candy canes – serve
