Equipment

  • Kitchen Scale
  • Deciliter Measure
  • Bowl
  • Hand Mixer
  • Waffle Iron

Ingredients

  • 50 gram Oatmeal
  • 150 gram Wheat Flour
  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • 250 gram Milk
  • 25 gram Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  • Mix oatmeal and milk together in a bowl.
  • Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes, until the oats have softened a bit. Add the flour to the batter and mix it together with an electric mixer.
  • Add a little more milk if the batter is too thick. It should be slightly thicker than pancake batter, but not as thick as cake batter. Bake the waffles until golden and crispy in a waffle iron greased with butter. Serve with sugar and jam.
