The fastest mayonnaise?

Ingredients

Mayonnaise made with a stick blender

  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • Salt Prefer coarse/flaky salt
  • 2.5 gram White Wine Vinegar
  • 15 gram Dijon Mustard
  • 368 gram Oil Flavor-neutral

Mayonnaise made with an electric whisk

  • 1 pcs. Egg Yolk
  • Salt
  • 15 gram Dijon Mustard
  • 14.9 gram Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Oil Flavor-neutral

Instructions

Homemade mayo with electric mixer and yolk

    1. Use a regular plastic bowl.
    2. Put the egg yolk in the bowl.
    3. Take your electric mixer and whip the yolk until it is thick.
    4. Add mustard and vinegar and whip them together.
    5. Add the oil in a thin stream. The mayo will now start to thicken.
    6. Continue adding the oil in a thin stream until the mayo reaches the desired thickness.

    1. Use a tall plastic glass that fits the immersion blender.
    2. Put all the ingredients in the glass.
    3. Place the immersion blender all the way at the bottom of the glass and only then turn it on.
    4. Move the immersion blender around in circles at the bottom of the glass.
    5. Slowly move the immersion blender upwards towards the top of the glass as the mayo thickens. Mover the immersion blender up and down a bit as you get closer to the top of the glass.
