Ingredients

  • 35 gram Yeast
  • 300 gram Milk
  • 31.25 gram Sugar
  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • 600 gram Wheat Flour can be up to 650 grams
  • 7.5 gram Salt
  • 27.6 gram Oil
  • 75 gram Butter soft
  • 4 gram Cardamom ground

Instructions

  • Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in the milk.
  • Add sugar, oil, cardamom, and eggs and stir.
  • Add most of the flour and salt and mix using a machine.
  • Add more flour if necessary.
  • Add butter and knead the dough until smooth and soft.
  • Let it rise in a warm place for about 25 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 12 pieces and form into buns.
  • Place the buns in a greased pan (approximately 24 x 32 cm) so they do not touch each other - but they should still be close together.
  • Let them rise again for about 50 minutes.
  • Bake the hveder at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15-20 minutes in a conventional oven.
  • Enjoy it.
  • PS: Eat the hveder with plenty of butter.
