Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in the milk.
Add sugar, oil, cardamom, and eggs and stir.
Add most of the flour and salt and mix using a machine.
Add more flour if necessary.
Add butter and knead the dough until smooth and soft.
Let it rise in a warm place for about 25 minutes.
Divide the dough into 12 pieces and form into buns.
Place the buns in a greased pan (approximately 24 x 32 cm) so they do not touch each other - but they should still be close together.
Let them rise again for about 50 minutes.
Bake the hveder at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15-20 minutes in a conventional oven.
Enjoy it.
PS: Eat the hveder with plenty of butter.
