Ingredients

  • 400 gram Wheat Flour
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Powdered Sugar
  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • Raspberry Jam preferably homemade

Instructions

  • Mix the ingredients together to form an even shortcrust pastry.
  • Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Then preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Roll the dough flat to about 0.5 cm.
  • Then, use a round object - I used a champagne glass ;-) to cut the dough into suitable sizes.
  • You can also make two long plates of the same size.
  • Bake the shortcrust pastry in the oven for about 10-12 minutes.
  • When the shortcrust pastry is baked, let it cool on a baking rack.
  • Then spread half of your shortcrust pastry bases with raspberry and place the other half on top.
  • Next, add icing on top and decorate with sprinkles or freeze-dried raspberries.
  • If you've baked two long plates, cut them into suitable pieces before the raspberry slices have completely cooled down.
  • Store in an airtight container.
