Pita Bread with Chicken Kebab and Tzatziki

Ingredients

Chicken Kebab

  • 400 gram Chicken Fillet
  • 69 gram Olive Oil
  • 3 gram Cumin
  • 2 cloves Garlic pressed
  • 8 gram Sambal Oelek
  • 1 gram Oregano dried
  • 1 gram Thyme dried
  • 3 gram Salt and Pepper little - freshly ground

Tzatziki

  • 2 pcs. Cucumber
  • 306 gram Greek Yoghurt
  • 2 cloves Garlic pressed
  • Salt and Pepper

In addition

  • 4 pcs. pita bread big and good
  • 2 pcs. Tomato sliced
  • 1/2 Iceberg salad or other green salad

Instructions

Chicken Kebab

  • Cut the fillets into thin slices and mix them with oil, spices, and sambal oelek, let marinate for 30 min or more.

Tzatziki

  • Halve the cucumbers lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Grate the cucumbers on the coarse side of the grater and press out all the liquid, possibly through a sieve.
  • Mix the grated cucumbers with yogurt and garlic, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Now you can warm the bread and fry the chicken pieces in a pan – cook until they are lightly browned and cooked through.
  • Fill the bread with salad, chicken, tzatziki, and tomato – serve.
