Pear Tart with Marzipan

Delicious and easy pear tart with marzipan. The candied pears go well with the marzipan and the crispy tart crust.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 pcs. Egg
  • 100 gram Sugar
  • 100 gram Flour
  • 60 gram Melted butter
  • 4 gram Vanilla Sugar
  • 5 gram Baking Soda
  • 100 gram Marzipan grated
  • 4 pcs. Pear candied, or from a can.

Garnish

  • 25 gram Cane Sugar
  • Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • Grease a small tart pan.
  • Beat eggs and sugar until the mixture is thick and frothy.
  • Slowly add the butter to the egg mixture in a fine thin stream while continuing to beat.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar into the batter.
  • Finally, fold the grated marzipan into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the greased tart pan.
  • Halve your pears and gently press them into the batter.
  • Sprinkle the tart with 2 tbsp. of cane sugar.
  • Bake in a regular oven at 170 degrees Celsius (338 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 40 minutes.
  • Allow the tart to cool and then dust it with powdered sugar.
