Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • 60 gram Tahini
  • 90 gram Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Paprika
  • Sumac
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Start by soaking your chickpeas overnight, and cook them according to the package instructions.
  • Once the chickpeas are cooked, drain the water.
  • Then take 4-5 tablespoons of cooked chickpeas in a blender or food processor, along with 4 tablespoons of tahini and 1 chopped garlic clove.
  • While blending, add water and lemon juice gradually.
  • Add more water or lemon if needed.
  • The mixture should have a thin yogurt consistency.
  • While everything is blending together, fry a few spoonfuls of chickpeas in oil with a little paprika.
  • When the chickpeas are golden, remove them and toss lightly in sumac and paprika.
  • Serve the blended "yogurt" in a bowl, add a couple of spoonfuls of cooked chickpeas, and then a spoonful of fried chickpeas.
  • Add chopped parsley, and sprinkle a little sumac and paprika over.
  • Finally, add a little olive oil around the edges.
  • Enjoy with a delicious bread ✨
